What we check before selling a refurbished smartphone
A refurbished device is not simply a used device resold as-is. Every phone goes through the same testing process as our repairs and comes with an inspection report that you can review in store.

The actual capacity and number of charge cycles are measured. If it falls below our threshold, the battery is replaced with a new one.

A device’s journey before it goes on sale

Selection
The device comes to us through a trade-in or buyback. Devices with a compromised motherboard are never put up for sale.

Refurbishment
The battery, display and connectors are replaced when necessary, using traceable parts just as we would for a repair.
- Step 03
Inspection
All eight points in our inspection process are checked individually. The device is then erased and unlocked.
- Step 04
Sale
The condition is graded, the price is set and the device is made available in store with its 12-month warranty.
